Real-time laser safety
ShadowGuard masks the laser beam around people and objects in real time, using computer vision on the galvanometers. Deploy interactive laser near an audience - without a cage, within FDA / IEC 60825 limits.
Powerful laser near people means strict eye-safety limits (FDA, IEC 60825). The usual answers - fencing off the beam, or hand-drawing static “safe zones” - kill the interaction, and static zones don’t follow people who move. That’s the wall most integrators hit.
Cameras detect people and objects; ShadowGuard inhibits laser emission exactly where they are, frame by frame. The beam is masked around each person as they move - and because the graphics land on a surface, no smoke is required.
ShadowGuard is built to FDA and IEC 60825 requirements - the regulatory barrier that opens venues and audiences closed to conventional laser shows.
Deployed under an FDA variance secured by our US partner (GhostTracker), authorizing laser-emission blocking on performers.
Emission control engineered to the international laser-safety standard.
Proven in live, regulated deployments - not a lab demo.
Static safe areas drawn by hand. They don’t follow people who move, and every new layout means re-programming.
The shadow tracks each person automatically, frame by frame: adaptive, close-proximity interaction with no manual re-programming.
